    The average rubberized bladder isn't designed to withstand ozone depletion. In just a few years you may notice cracking, stiffness,  loss of color and possibly a bladder that is unuseable or in need of repair.

  It is a polymer coating designed to reflect radiant heat. This means heat you cannot see. ACTIVE ALL THE TIME, means protection all the time. Testing has shown a 100 degree difference beneath the coating.
